The distinguished keynote speaker, H.E. Dr. Abdi Zenbe, delved into the thought-provoking theme “Aid and Autonomy,” advocating for a paradigm shift from reliance on external aid to building local resilience through grassroots initiatives.
Dr. Ezana Amdework, Interim Executive Dean for the College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, underscored the imperative of fostering collaboration to effectively tackle socio-economic hurdles.
In his closing remarks, Dr. Tesfaye Bezabih urged for proactive resource mobilization and the adoption of innovative approaches to convert challenges into opportunities. AHD 2025 sets the stage for a promising and sustainable future for Ethiopia.
