IFA warmly welcomed and conferred with delegates from Global Green Growth Institute (#GGGI) on June 3, 2024 at the Institute of Foreign Affairs. Executive Director of the Institute of Foreign Affairs H.E. Jafar Bediru briefly stated IFA’s key working priorities on foreign policy and diplomacy both as a think tank and policy research Institute. The Executive Director palpably discusses the recent tremendous achievements of the institute in conducting Policy Research, Providing Diplomatic and Capacity Building trainings, and in organizing high-level and timely Policy dialogues with the guests.

H.E. Okechukwu Daniel Ogbonnaya –Country Director of GGGI on his side also deliberated that the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is a treaty-based international, inter-governmental organization dedicated to supporting and promoting strong, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth in developing countries and emerging economies. To this end, his institution is quite keen on working with IFA on conducting joint research and participating in training, particularly on Climate diplomacy, Green Economy as the institute serves the role of an enabler and facilitator of Members’ transition into a low-carbon green economy, providing policy advice and technical support in the development of green growth plans, policies and regulations, mobilization of green investments, implementation of green growth projects, and development of local capacities and knowledge sharing.
Lastly, both parties have planned several joint working projects and agreed to enhance their partnerships and collaborations strongly afterward.
